Opportunity: Nicky Coutts, Canal Opera

Opportunity: Nicky Coutts, Artist in residence at Oriel Davies, is working on a Canal Opera and is looking for singers, a local male voice choir, soloists, other types of choirs, to work with her to produce a film located at nearby canals. You need not be professional, just prepared to experiment. Also needed is someone confident in sound recording (this is a paid role). This partnership aims to highlight the heritage and historic significance of Wales’ canals, as well as celebrating their current relevance to local communities and contemporary Welsh culture.
