Oriel Davies’ Curator Alex Boyd Jones - mentoring re:collect

Jill Impey, Seeds - The Vally II, 2018, video still of the Somme Vally, looking away from the imposing Thiepval Memorial.

The exhibition title An Undertaking refers to the action of individuals during World War I and the artists’ commitment to produce a fitting work to honour those sacrifices one hundred years on. The artworks consider the fragility of human life, memorial and legacy through film, sculpture, installation and print.

The exhibition is open to the public from 4 August until 30 September 2018.
