Lucia Fraser

Lucia Fraser’s approach to ceramics is heavily influenced by her painting practice. She uses a slab building technique to create ‘flat’ forms that act as 3D surfaces for her glazing technique.

Finding inspiration from the natural world she creates work that is gestural and expressive with a distinct colour palette.

Her recognisable mark making transfers from canvas to ceramic in a fluid painterly style.
