Oriel Davies Gallery originates around ten exhibitions a year, by National and International artists, as well as supporting and encouraging emerging and graduate artists through the Oriel Davies Test Bed programme. Students are strongly encouraged to visit and get involved. The gallery has regular opportunities for internships and work placements and also provides training through its Young Curators scheme.

The Gallery schedules a number of free talks and events by visiting and exhibiting artists and commentators, which give valuable insight into current art practice. You can also make use of our web-based research archive, which contains images, essays, reviews and films associated with past projects and exhibitions.

Every two years the Gallery originates an Open Exhibition with a substantial student prize that includes a solo exhibition at the Gallery. See previous student winners >
