Ar Lan y Môr / On the Seashore
A bilingual book full of photographs portraying our relationship with the seashore in Wales from the mid nineteenth century to the present day, in the style of its predecessor, Life in the Countryside. The photographs include the work of some of Wales' most prominent photographers such as John Thomas, JH Lister, Tom Mathias, William Harwood, Geoff Charles, David Hurn and Keith Morris.
The author Gwyn Jenkins comes from Penparcau near Aberystwyth, but has lived in Tal-y-Bont for the past 30 years. Before retiring in 2009, he was Director of Collection Services at the National Library of Wales.
