Byw yn y Wlad
A collection of 160 evocative photographs of rural Wales from the mid nineteenth century to the present day, featuring the work of some of Wales' most prominent photographers, including John Thomas, DC Harries, PB Abery, Geoff Charles and Marian Delyth. Their striking images are accompanied by informative bilingual captions and an introduction detailing the work of the photographers and the nature of the countryside during this period.
The author Gwyn Jenkins comes from Penparcau near Aberystwyth, but has lived in Tal-y-Bont for the past 30 years. Before retiring in 2009, he was Director of Collection Services at the National Library of Wales.
