Song for Newtown was the result of an 8 week collaboration between the artist and the people of Newtown.

Oriel Davies wanted to generate a project that would involve a wide cross-section of inhabitants, dissolving the boundaries between the town and the gallery and providing an opportunity for local people to feel genuinely part of a major exhibition.
