Join Artist Roz Moreton for a ‘Gathering Stories’ walk along the river bank.

You will experience a mindful approach to observing, collecting and interacting with the environment, to tell your own story of experience of the River Severn

Your book will house all your collected objects that will form your story (or stories) of your experience at the river bank.

This walk experience is part of an on-going body of work "Language of the Landscape - Land Voices, Seen and Created by Dyslexic Mind, Eyes and Voice" that is funded by the Arts Council of Wales.

Meeting at Oriel Davies in reception at 11am - (please come early to choose your gathering book).

You will be provided with a fabric gathering book for the 2 hour experience

Artist Statement

Roz Moreton is a Visual Artist living and working in Carmarthenshire.

Her work is an exploration of the emotional and the physical human interactions with our environment.

Her observations through drawing, photography, film, and creating 3D objects of Human vs Nature interactions of our natural and man-made landscapes, set out to encourage people to rethink how they see and interact with their environment and how their behaviours effect change in nature…
