Covid Signage

You will see various signs around the building indicating different aspects relating to the pandemic. These were designed by Simon Proffitt of Amgueddfa Llwch in 2020. Inspired by the use of masking tape, text and images in art galleries, we commissioned Amgueddfa Llwch (Simon Proffitt) to create social distancing signage that appeared friendly but conveyed the message as we reopened following the first lockdown. The posters feature arrows and text constructed from masking tape and are bilingual, printed in English and Welsh. The commission was funded with help from the Arts Council of Wales, National Lottery Covid-19 Stabilisation Grant.
