Available in Welsh or English from the Oriel Davies shop.
This exhibition brings together the paintings and short stories of Huwco Jones where the traditional roles are flipped: here, the prose illustrates the art. This reversal offers a guided tour through the artist's creative mind. The scenery so familiar to Huwco becomes inhabited by extraordinary characters drawn from his unshackled imagination.
The artist has shown throughout the UK and beyond and has six paintings in the Welsh National Collection. One of the works from this series is being shown at this year's National Eisteddfod.
The gallery is open:
Tuesday - Saturday 10-4
Cafe closes at 4

Closed bank holidays
Most events at Oriel Davies are free to attend but we suggest making a voluntary donation here to support our continuing work delivering accessible workshops, events, activities and projects.
