10×10 Gelplate Printing
Using a 10cm x 10cm gelplate, you will create a range of images on paper or fabric by investigating colour texture and layering - with a theme of 'birds, nests and feathers'.
The resulting images can be used for a variety of creative projects including collage, concertina books and slow stitch projects.
It’s great fun and the compact format allows for great experimentation.
The tutor will supply most materials for this workshop, but students are encouraged to bring along any found objects that can be pressed into paint to make a pattern. ( The tutor will also bring some items along with her that you can use). Also any additional papers that you would like to print on, for example – sheets of text from old books, printed music, special hand made paper, bits of fabric and foliage.
This workshop is suitable for both beginners and improvers.
