Gini worked as an illustrator and childrens' book author for many years. She was awarded an MA in Fine Art, with distinction, from the University of Aberystwyth in 2010, where she specialised in lithography.
Her work draws on myths, dreams and the natural world, with a dash of the dark side. She is a DJ, and dance and celebrations inform many of her images.
Primarily a printmaker, she also makes animations, ceramic sculptures and paintings, which she exhibits both nationally & internationally.
Her preferred print techniques are lithography and linocut.
She has taught printmaking in Aberystwyth, China, Hong Kong and Guatemala, and was the lithography tutor at the Sidney Nolan Trust, Herefordshire, from 2010 -2017 and is a director of Aberystwyth Printmakers. She moved from London to Llanidloes in 1971, and has lived there ever since.
