Photographer Mohamed Hassan arrived in Wales eight years ago from his home land Egypt. Mo has built an exciting career in Wales, photographing people, places and landscape.
Mo will be leading an all day walking workshop following a circular walk from Newtown to Pwll Penarth Nature Reserve. The walk is 6 miles in total. More details about the walk and its accessibly here https://newtown.org.uk/discove...
The walk follows the Severn Way, the Montgomery Canal and the 81 National Cycle Trail to the Nature reserve, managed by Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust.
The workshops will built confidence and connections, encouraging self expression and a curiosity in the environment. Mo will help participants to read the natural environment and capture interesting details often overlooked in everyday life. Participants will need to bring a smart phone, they will be provided with a single use camera to use during the day too.
Workshops are free. Booking is required as places are limited. Participants to bring a packed lunch and drink and wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather.
Groups will be accompanied by Mo and DBS checked gallery staff at all times.
