“Tai chi is an art embracing the mind, body and spirit. Originating in ancient China, tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body. Although an art with great depth of knowledge and skill, it can be easy to learn and soon delivers its health benefits. For many, it continues as a lifetime journey.” Dr Paul Lam

Slow & safe movements improve balance, strength & flexibility. It teaches weight transference enhancing mobility & co-ordination. Strengthens the mind improving calmness & confidence.

Tai chi is practised around the world as an effective exercise for health.

Using the easy to learn Dr Lam ‘tai chi for arthritis’ program, which is also known as ‘Sun Style Short Form,’ the course will introduce, postural alignment, Dan tian breathing, weight transference and fall prevention along with other core principles of tai chi in a fun relaxed atmosphere.

The aim of this short introductory course is to give participants an opportunity to start their own tai chi journey by providing practical resources as part of their ‘tai chi tool kit'. Jean & Tony believe that when you enjoy the gentle flow and movements of tai chi you can have more control over your own health and wellbeing each day.

Every great journey begins with one small step.
