Elliott Flanagan
Elliott Flanagan is the Curatorial Associate for Wales in Venice 2026. He provides curatorial support and coordination for the development and delivery of Sownd, and works on national programming related to the Cymru yn Fenis at sites across the country. His role is supported by ArtFund.
Elliott is a multimedia artist working at the intersection of identity, memory and class. His art practice uses text, film, sound, installation, performance and spoken word, mixing personal, social and historical stories. Commissioned by Super Slow Way he had a solo exhibition "You can never really return home" at the Salon in his hometown Burnley in 2025, and has exhibited nationally and internationally including Tate Liverpool, Baltic Gateshead (2023), g39 Cardiff, Venice Biennale and Begehungen, Chemnitz (2019).
