Silver 'caterfoil' large hoops.
The hanging caterfoil detail is uniquely crafted from small pieces of silver the industry would consider waste. When heated to extremes these small pieces swirl with the heat into tiny orbs - 4 making up the 'caterfoil'.
Handmade from sterling silver, where possible recycled silver is always used.

Based in North Wales Bethan Corin makes from her home studio. She finds importance in the method of making, the detail of things handmade, right down to the practical, mechanical aspects of a clasp or a pin.
The form, the texture, the feel of a piece is what leads Bethan's designs.
