Our volunteer gardeners meet outside the gallery regularly to take care of the planting and outside spaces at Oriel Davies

Key Roles

• Supporting the development and maintenance of Oriel Davies gardens and surrounding greens spaces
• Supporting events and opportunities that encourage a curiosity around nature, gardening and growing for art and wellbeing

Responsibilities

• To undertake a range of seasonal gardening tasks as requested by Oriel Davies
• To work alongside other gardening volunteers / staff. Tasks will be allocated according to individual abilities and preferences.
• Use a range of hand tools safely in accordance with advice given by staff.
• To become part of a respectful and responsible team that provides a safe and supportive space for all to learn and grow a love of gardening and the natural world around us.
