Volunteer Gallery Invigilator
Welcoming visitors to the gallery and providing a first class visitor experience.
Key Roles
- Providing a warm welcome for visitors
- Ensuring the gallery is always tidy and resources available
- Monitoring exhibits and interacting with visitors
Responsibilities
- Point of contact for general inquiries and offering support and information
- Engaging with visitors, ensuring they have any resources or information
- Assist with keeping a record of visitor feedback and visitor statistics
- Be visible and engage with all visitors and staff, to ensure gallery ethos and guidelines are followed.
- Be familiar with evacuation procedures, supported by onsite staff to implement this in the event of an emergency
- Report any issues in relation to security, cleanliness and safety
