Simon Cotton

I’m a trained graphic designer and illustrator, proudly graduated from Hull School of Art. These days, I wear the hat of creative director at VCA (View Creative Agency), a North Wales-based design studio. Founded in the late '90s in a snug bed-sit office, VCA has grown into a respected creative studio, specialising in brand identity, digital design, social media marketing, and packaging. In other words, I make things look good and work even better.

I’m also a coach and mentor on various frameworks. On top of that, I’m director of a health and wellbeing centre and in 2024 became the co-founder of Corna Storr, a stylish scan-inspired coffee house in Rhos on Sea.

Outside work, I’m proud father of three. To get away from screens, I keep active with outdoor bootcamps and the occasional adventure on my beloved classic motorbikes.

Oh, where to begin? Love Helvetica. Enjoy the sound of my classic 1979 Cafe Racer. Dream about the iconic Case Study Houses and love looking at my gloriously colorful 1998 iMac—I’ve got a soft spot for timeless design with a touch of nostalgia.
