We make amazing coffee!
The cafe has become an integral part of the gallery and our programme once again. Our intention is that cafe profits support our programme, but this is impacted by the economy.
This has forced us to rethink the cafe and, from the end of March, we will return to the original model of only serving drinks, cakes and toast. This is because of the increases in costs for raw ingredients, staffing (we pay our staff a fair Living Wage) and energy.
Fridays will still be Andy’s bread day and we have Daisy Bank milk available most days, and don’t forget we also sell delicious ice cream.
Finally, many of you will know Tim who works in the cafe. Tim is leaving us. We wish him all the very best and thank him for all his hard work and commitment over the past 12 months. He might still be back occasionally but in the meantime we wish him well in his new ventures.
