We make amazing coffee!
The cafe has become an integral part of the gallery and our programme once again. Our intention is that cafe profits support our programme, but this is impacted by the economy.
This has forced us to rethink the cafe and, from the end of March, we will return to the original model of only serving drinks, cakes and toast. This is because of the increases in costs for raw ingredients, staffing (we pay our staff a fair Living Wage) and energy.
The main galleries here at Oriel Davies are now closed in order to complete the building works required as part of our inclusion within the National Contemporary Art Gallery Wales partner network. This capital investment is funded by the Welsh Government.
Our shop and café will be open as usual during this period. Plus, keep an eye out for upcoming events and activities, there will still be plenty to do at Oriel Davies!
