ANEW - a recovery project

A nourishing creative journey for people whose lives are adversely affected by substance and alcohol use

ANEW is a nourishing creative journey for people whose lives are adversely affected by substance and alcohol use and who are considering, or embarking on, A RECOVERY PATH.

ANEW is a grass roots project designed and organised by people wanting to create a recovery community for mutual support, growth and connection to the wider community.

Oriel Davies is part of this project together with dance charity Impelo in Llandrindod Wells, Kaleidoscope and Cyfle Cymru. It is funded and commissioned by Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board.

Together we’ll help to nurture your creative voice and skills and share stories through film-making, creative writing, visual arts, basket weaving, movement, music and more.

Creative workshops run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the gallery from 10am - 3pm until 3rd August

Come as you are - no experience required - for a cuppa and company and together we’ll create and share stories.

We’ll be working with some lovely artists to develop new skills, have some stress free fun and together create something to share with the world.

For a friendly confidential chat about how the project works and to connect to other people locally who are in recovery get in touch with Ben 07415 224 599 and Wayne 07473 622976. Ben and Wayne are both part of the recovery community.
