£8.91 p/h (minimum of 7 hours per week over the summer dependant on the applicant’s availability).

Initially for the period June – September

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to join the Oriel Davies Gallery Team and support our expanding provision across weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and in the evenings.

Our vision is to inspire, excite and challenge through innovative contemporary art and culture.

The role requires experience within customer facing environments and strong communication skills. Experience of working within a gallery is not essential, we are a diverse team that provides excellent customer services and a warm welcome to all. You will act as a friendly and informative point of contact for the visiting public. You’ll have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to respond to general enquiries. Ideally you can communicate bilingually. You’ll have an interest in and/or knowledge of contemporary arts, crafts and design. You’ll have high levels of presentation and professionalism, attention to detail and an awareness of Health & Safety issues.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the day to day running of a bilingual arts organisation.
