Seasonal Events

As we move towards mid-winter we're preparing a programme of events and activities to bring us together, celebrating the joy of creativity...

Saturday 26th November 5 - 7.30pm Newtown Lights Switch On and Winter Village - in front of the gallery. This years event is mindful of the environment with a lit bicycle parade through the town centre arriving at the Winter Village - a series of beautiful yurts where visitors can enjoy family activities and workshops, music and mulled wine. Find us in the workshop yurt creating Christmas decorations from re-purposed and natural materials. Pay bar and café open including mulled local cider.

Friday 2nd December 5 - 7pm Tobias and the Angel Opening Event as part of The National Gallery Masterpiece Tour. Join us and meet some of the artists who have responded to this Renaissance masterpiece. Pay Bar and Cafe open

Saturday 10th December 1.30 - 3pm - Singing Workshop - join musician Charlotte Woodford to sing in the gallery surrounded by contemporary art and Renaissance painting Tobias and the Angel.
