Newtown has been showcased in a television programme highlighting the town’s distinctive architecture and remarkable past.
Dr Scorey said Newtown’s location and heritage have helped it become a cultural hub in Mid Wales, with institutions like the gallery and Theatre Hafren building on the legacy of the Davies sisters of Gregynog.
