Visitors flock to experience Sownd in Wales and Venice
Over 39,000 international visitors have already visited the Wales in Venice exhibition since it opened at the Venice Biennale in May, making Wales’ return to exhibiting at the world-renowned festival already one of the most successful yet, with a month left to run.
The interest in Sownd has been equally enthusiastic in Wales, with Sownd [ar safle] site-specific experiences fully booked and other ways to engage with the work bringing audiences to Welsh galleries.
With only little over a month left of the exhibition in Venice, the artists are inviting anyone visiting the Venice Biennale to experience Sownd by dropping in to the space at the Istituto Santa Maria della Pietà in Castello.
